IGI 2 Covert Strike is an action shooting pc game, a sequel to Project IGI 1 game which offered only single player gameplay and no saves. IGI 2 Cover Strike added multiplayer gameplay and limited save game capability also. Initially, the game also contains many bugs which led the game to very poor sales, which contributed to Innerloop's demise.

IGI 2: Covert Strike was developed by Interloop Studios and published by Codemasters. Chris Ryan was the designer of the game.Covert Strike was released on 3rd March 2003 for Microsoft Windows (PC) platform only.
